What exactly does the myLeanTeam service include?

myLeanTeam outsources your entire back office: accounting, payroll and taxes, handled by an expert team that works as if it were your own. On top of that we add a technology layer: we implement Odoo as your ERP —we are partners—, build advanced reporting combining Odoo with Claude, and automate repetitive administrative tasks with AI. The result is a tidy, digitalized administration with reliable data, without having to hire or coordinate multiple providers. We operate in Spain (Madrid, Marbella and Barcelona), Germany, Romania and Luxembourg.

How is it different from a traditional accounting firm?

A traditional accounting firm limits itself to filing taxes and payroll from the paperwork you send, usually with manual processes and little visibility. myLeanTeam goes further: beyond accounting, payroll and taxes, we digitalize your administration with an ERP (Odoo), automate repetitive work with AI and deliver advanced reporting so you can make decisions, not just stay compliant. We work as an extension of your team, with defined processes and data that is always up to date. We do not just handle obligations: we organize and modernize your entire administrative operation.

What does onboarding look like and how long does it take?

We start with a diagnostic meeting to understand your situation: activity, employees, current tools and pain points. From there we define a phased onboarding plan: first we secure continuity of accounting, payroll and taxes, then we activate the technology layer (Odoo, reporting, automation) by priority. The day-to-day transition is usually completed within a few weeks, depending on the state of your documentation and your previous advisor; the full ERP implementation is planned separately so operations are never disrupted. Throughout the process you have a single point of contact.

What happens with my current advisor? How does the switch work?

Switching advisors is simpler than it seems and we handle the heavy lifting. We request the necessary documentation from your current advisor —accounting records, filed tax forms, employee and company data—, verify it is complete and coordinate the handover so no tax or labor obligation is left uncovered. You only need to notify your advisor when we tell you it is time. The best moment is usually a quarter or year-end close, but we can onboard you at any point in the year with a tailored transition plan.

What is Odoo and why do you implement it as an ERP?

Odoo is one of the most widely used ERPs in the world: a modular system that integrates invoicing, accounting, purchasing, sales, inventory, HR and more in a single platform. We implement it because it offers an excellent functionality-to-cost ratio for SMEs, is open source and grows with you module by module, so you never pay for what you do not use. We are Odoo partners, so implementation, configuration and support are done by the same team that runs your back office. That removes middlemen and ensures the ERP reflects how your company really works.

How does AI reporting (Odoo + Claude) work?

We connect your Odoo data with Claude, Anthropic's AI, to generate advanced reporting in plain language: periodic reports on sales, cash, margins and deviations, plus answers to specific questions about your business without waiting for someone to prepare a spreadsheet. The AI works on real, structured ERP data, so reports are consistent and traceable. Our team reviews and contextualizes the results before delivering them, so you receive useful conclusions, not just numbers. It is the same technology we use to automate repetitive administrative tasks.

How is pricing structured?

We do not work with rigid packages or lock you into fixed commitments. The model is flexible and scalable: you pay for the scope you need —accounting, payroll, taxes and the technology layer you choose— and we expand or reduce it as your company changes. The entry price is designed to be accessible for an SME, well below the cost of building an internal administration department.
